1. Why the name Option A ?

Option A offers a viable and beneficial arrangement for all, as opposed to Plan B, which leaves certain people behind.

2. Who is behind Option A ?

The french non-profit organization Sorry Children runs the Option A project, which has its own governance structure (operational, steering, and participant committees). You can find more information on the dedicated page: Behind OA.

3. In concrete terms, what is the purpose of Option A ?

Option A invites anyone to create or join a small local team to work together to live more simply, with more mutual aid and autonomy. To this end, Option A provides tools for connecting locally, as well as a method for creating, joining, leading, and sustaining a team. Teams can then connect with each other in larger groups (tribes), allowing mutual support to develop beyond the team circle.
